The North East Music Foundation
North East Music Foundation registered as a company in 2011 and began trading in 2012.
Our workforce is employed by the company, which enables us to properly control and integrate the quality of our teachers. Our tutors work as part of a team, and we think that is important. It is a big part of our offer to schools - in particular where schools have to buy in self employed tutors, teaching at different times, on different days, and/or where schools would struggle to properly coordinate music provision so that it works effectively, and gives best value for both the school and its pupils.
Working in Schools
Our core business is both the supply and performance management of instrumental tutors to schools and academies. We are passionate about what we do and strive to provide an integrated service to schools that ensures that our tutors are fully conversant with the need to work with Heads of Music AND each other, with a particular regard to creating and fostering ensemble opportunities whenever possible. We go the extra mile.

Study Support
If you look through the pages of our site, you will find whole banks of study support videos, many linked to graded exams. Most pages are password protected - you can get the passwords from your NEMFCIC Instrumental/Singing teacher. These videos are added to on a regular basis, if there are any instruments/grades you can not find covered, please ask your NEMFCIC tutor.
